Our Programs

Three Year Old Pre-School
Program
Our
Three year old program consists of a variety of activities to help
develop the young student. We concentrate on developing motor
skills through coloring, pasting, cutting and simple writing.
Additionally, we foster the development of the necessary
social skills that can be unilaterally applied in and out of the
class room. Our small class sizes allow us to spend extra time with
the children which is exceptionally important in these formative
years. The students learn to share with others and to participate
both individually and in groups to complete assigned projects. We
make learning fun!
Four Year Old Pre-School
Program
In
our four year old program, we continue to work with each child
individually - we pride ourselves on progressive learning. The
groups are more formalized as an academic setting. Increased
emphasis is placed on academic skills while maintaining the
importance for social development. Our students are formally
introduced to the alphabet, its application
in words, basic grammar, and simple sentence structure.
Children will be introduced to numbers, sequences and the
quantities they represent.
Kindergarten Program
In
Kindergarten, we emphasize learning in a formal environment. Our
classroom is structured with separate learning centers established
for reading, phonics, and computer aided learning activities. The
skills that were addressed in the four year old program are
mastered. Most of our students read ten or more books and are well
versed in simple mathematical operations. We continue to limit our
class sizes so that the personalized attention can be maintained.
Our Kindergarten graduates are well prepared for elementary level
academics. Greenwich Village licensed by the Rhode Island
Department of Education for early childhood education.
