Margaret Sullivan - Head Teacher
Before becoming Head Teacher at Greenwich Village School in 2009, Mrs. Sullivan taught kindergarten and first grade at the Regional Multicultural Magnet School in New London, Connecticut, where she also served as the Teacher Representative to the school's onsite management team, as well as the Team Leader for the K/1 teachers. Between these two teaching positions, she took some time off to raise her two sons. During this time, Mrs. Sullivan continued to serve on the academic pre referral team at the Magnet School as well as receiving her certification as a presenter for the Responsive Classroom and giving teacher workshops throughout southeastern CT. Mrs. Sullivan earned her BA from Clark University and her Masters in Education from the University of New England. She resides in Warwick with her husband and two sons, who are GVS alumni.
